Ford recalls 2015 Focus, C-MAX and Escape
Ford is one of the trusted car brands in the world, and millions of people trust Ford when it comes to their lives. They take their children to school with their car, they go to trips and they rely on the company to make their vehicles as safe as possible. Unfortunately, this is not always the case and once again Ford had to recall three of their models for security concerns.
Apparently, the cars don’t have a safe airbag system and this was detected in 2014. Although many people heard about this, the company did not issue any clear statement and it took a long time until the government forced them to recall the vehicles in question. Over 850.000 cars in the United States will have to go back to Ford and the owners of the vehicles are not happy about it.
The 2015 Focus, the C-MAX and the Escape models all have security concerns - some of them include the quality of the airbags, the efficiency of the child lock from the rear door, and as the normal use of the push-button door lock. When any of these systems do not function properly, lives can be in danger.
This will cost the company a few billion dollars, and that does not include any compensation that they might have to offer their clients. The good news is that cars are getting better and better, and that we have the technology that we need to prevent any accidents.
